Well, we decided to let our domain registration lapse for marytheapostle.org. As little traffic as it received it was not worth the financial investment (A big thanks to our dear friend Rob for supporting it for 5 years!). This blog also gets little use. As you can see this is the first post in a couple of years, but at least it's free. Perhaps we'll get more use out of this in the near future.
While I'm here, I'd like to post a few links I think you should check out:

Roots and Realities in Mexico: The Shadows of US Policy and Wisdom in the Fight for Freedom
We hope you and your friends, coworkers, family and classmates will attend the first of our free monthly meals and discussions on matters of conscience, social justice, faith and alternatives for a better world. Come prepared to enjoy good food and fellowship and with open hearts and minds to engage challenging topics and fresh perspectives.
This month, a special Friday evening discussion with Robert Saper. A 2005 graduate of Gannon University, Rob recently concluded over two years of policy analysis and educational leadership with Witness for Peace in Oaxaca, Mexico. We are honored to have him share his experiences as part of our first clarification of thought.
Topics to be covered:
-How US trade policy causes inequality and immigration
-Impacts of the global food crisis
-Secretive corporate trade and military negotiations
-The border and effects of the War on Terror
-Repressing social movements in the War on Drugs
-Putting solidarity into action
-Food, autonomy and economy at the heart of change
-The creative responses of poor Mexicans
